Does anyone else agree?

I did a two week trip in September where i did DL and WDW.

I definately noticed that Disneyland didnt seem to have the intense atmosphere that Magic Kingdom did.

I am assuming as it is because Disneyland is a locals park whereas WDW has more intentional visitors.

I'm not sure exactly what you mean by intense? Is everyone running around frantically or something?

The crowds at WDW are more "frantic", I agree with OP. Mostly locals at DL, they are less intense about squeezing everything in, less stressed out. Just my observations. They seem to take long lines in stride and just switch to another ride..... they can ride that one the "next time". Many WDW guests will not be back for 1-2 years or longer, so they are intense.

I smile at the concern over long lines at DL, because the lines at WDW are generally longer, 1 hour+ common and 2-21/2 hours not that unusual in peak times of the day, at many months of the year.

And it can really be seen in the long lines for characters at WDW vs. DL. At DL, you may have short lines for photos, but less families with 3-4 kids each getting an autograph and photo. Characters walk around without "handlers", and are less swarmed upon.

But I love both WDW and DL, for different experiences, because they are different "worlds". And yes, at WDW many people ARE literally running around frantically.:tilt:
