Via Napoli

The pizza served is Neapolitan style - thin, very crisp crust, some varieties made without tomato sauce. This is not the type of pizza that some guests are used to or expecting.

I have been there once, thought it was really good personally. Tried 4 types of pizza. I can't refer to any of them as "poor."

Dining plan info:

1 credit = individual pizza plus drink and dessert

2 credits = large pizza plus 2 drinks and 2 desserts

4 credits = half meter pizza plus 4 drinks and 4 desserts

Add appetizers if you're on the deluxe plan.

Kids' credits don't count - must be adult credits. Kids 3-9 must order from the kids' menu.

thanks for the ddp info- really appreciate it!

Just ate here on Monday. Our server was horrible and I don't say that a lot. I had a pizza. It was okay but I've had a lot better pizza like this at home in NY. My DH got chicken parm. I didn't like it. He thought it was okay but not great. It came with spagetti pie piece which was horrible. The aranchini app was really a rice ball and not good. The calamari was okay. We shared zeppoli and it wasn't good. Cold and that is how they said they served it after we got it. Too doughy. Had much better again in NY. It came with chocolate sauce and whip cream. We are on the deluxe dining plan but I would still say it was too expensive for what we got. I wouldn't go back. Tutto next door is much better but we wanted to try something new. Sorry we did!

Thank you for this, my husband is a bit of a pizza snob and says the best pizza he ever had was in Venice Italy. When I looked at Via Napoli it seemed to remind him of the pizza he had while there.

So I can't wait to take him and see what he thinks.

I feel the same. The best pizza I've ever had was in Udine, Italy. Very thin crust...melt in your mouth pizza. I don't like any of the chains around here. DH finally had to develop his own pizza dough recipe, and I make the red sauce from our home grown SanMarzano tomatoes. I guess I'm a pizza snob too!

I have it booked right now but I'm not sure if I'm going to keep it! I love pizza but it sounds a little hit or miss.

Many of the reviews I have read seem disappointed in the pizza because of the way it is made. Crust is too thin, not enough toppings, weird toppings, ect ect. These are all things that really fall into expecting something that it was not. This is not american pizza that you find in New York, Chicago, or anywhere else. This is not the pizza one usually gets in the states when they order pizza. This is more traditional Italian style pizza. It appears very similar to what I received in Rome when I was visiting.

Truthfully I have seen more positives then negatives about this place. As long as you go in with the understanding of what you will be getting, I think you will be fine.

I think I could get behind that... I'm not married to one style of pizza so it may be worth trying! I saw some pictures of the pepperoni pizza and practically started drooling... It looked delicious.

I would not have known that "Tomato" meant tomato sauce. I thought "tomato" meant fresh tomatoes. I am so glad I read that here. Usually when I get pizza and it does not have red sauce it says white pizza or garlic & olive oil.

Ya, that's the difference of types of pizza mostly.

Naples style pizza, from my [admittedly poor] memory, doesn't often use sauces. They're more likely to just use the tomato.

Now I don't know specifically with this restaurant, but I would also tend to think that the tomato line refers to using the tomato itself instead of a red sauce. However, the only pizza I'd assume would have a red sauce would have been the pepperoni because of it being an 'American' staple.
