Question how does Via Napoli Ristorante e Pizzeria work on the dining plan? Can each person order their own pizza any size or say some of us order a big pizza and some order pasta and share?

The menu is limited on the free dining plan. You can order your pizza. We each got our own pizza last year, but you cannot get any size you want. The pizza you get is enough for one person. I THINK I am correct on this. Someone else may correct me if I'm wrong. They have good pizza. Enjoy!

doesn't seem very dinning plan friendly, a personal size pizza is $21 where most TS meals on dining plan are $30+

VN is the strictest of all the TS restaurants when using the dining plan. If you want pizza you can order only the individual sized pizza. You cannot combine credits to order the larger sized pizza. You can also order any of the other entrees on the menu.

VN will not let you use 1 credit to feed 2 or more people unlike most other TS restaurants which will allow sharing. If each of you orders an entree or pizza and uses a credit you can share, but you can't use 3 credits to feed 4 or more.

Beverages are limited to the basic fountain drinks, such as soda, coffee, tea, iced tea - basically the kinds of beverages that come with free refills. It does not include any specialty beverages even if they are non-alcoholic.

VN serves wood fired thin crust pizza. My adult daughter and I can share one when we pay OOP and along with the arancini for an appetizer and a dessert that is enough for us. If you have a hearty appetite it may not be enough.

Thank you for asking this question! Definitely following along. We are going back and forth if we should go to via Napoli or not. We are on the DDP

How big are the individual pizzas? My husband and I shared the larger size and were stuffed. Just wondering if the individual pizzas are tiny or not?

Last year we went on the DDP and loved it! Some of us had pasta dishes, but I wanted pizza. You can only get one of their pizzas in an individual size. I was able to eat the whole thing, and it was the perfect amount for myself. Delicious!!!

Hi were on the dining plan and booked to eat there on the dining plan can you make your own pizza with toppings then ?
Thanks Cornish Pixie

They charge for extra toppings. Your better bet is to get a speciality pizza rather then building your own

The pizza is a nice size, it is also reasonable to pay out of pocket. I have had the pizza before which was good but their chicken parm dinner is awesome.

At Via Napoli, on the DDP, each person must order a 1 credit entree. This includes all individual pizzas, including the specialty pizza's, the pasta entrees, and all other entrees. If you order a build your own individual pizza, you will pay per additional topping.
They do not allow sharing credits at all. You can no longer even combine 2 credits to purchase a large pizza for 2.
The pizzas are extremely thin crust and not as filling as pizza you may be accustomed to. The individual is 4 slices.
We really like it here.

Has anyone had experience here were some members of your party used a table service credit and others paid out of pocket?

What about saving your credits and paying OOP for this meal? Maybe it's not ideal, but since splitting pizza is difficult on the dining plan (and like you said $21 for the individual size could be used better elsewhere) maybe it's a good option.

They may be the most strict restaurant in WDW when on the dining plan, but there pizza is worth it. My entire family got an individual sized pizza and it was plenty for all of us except my dad got a dessert afterwards from bakery in France.

I think if you are paying OOP you can do whatever you want. It's when you're using the dining plan that they are strict with splitting entrees. :)

I was there in March with my mom, aunt, and cousin. We got a large pizza, an appetizer, and salad ($7 per person and not worth it IMO), and it was plenty of food.

Pay out of pocket for the individual pizza. Use the DDP for Chicken Parmesan.
