Via Napoli on dining plan

Hi! How does it work at Via Napoli when ordering pizza? I read that if you order a pizza to split, that each person will have a TS credit deducted. What about the dessert? Would we each still get a dessert?

What if one person wants pizza and the others want different items?

on the DP at VN everyone will have to order an entree. There are pizzas, pastas, salads, etc. You can order like 1 individual pizza and 1 salad entree and share both, but each person must order an entree on the DP.

Paying oop you can order and share however you'd like.

the single pizza counts as 1 entree for 1 person. in my experience, you have to be really hungry to finish the single pizza. when i bring a date on the DDP, we will often get two single pizzas to count as our two entrees so we can sample each others and bring the leftovers home. i would say get 2 pizzas or 1 pizza + 1 other entree to share so you aren't wasting your credit. the staff are really accommodating about to-go boxes. i usually have to get the dessert to-go and enjoy as a late night snack because the pizza is so filling.

You can't order a pizza to split...on dining credits you can order individual pizzas.

Via Napoli doesn't allow dining plan guests to split entrees.

Via Napoli is very strict when using dining credits. If you want pizza you can only order the individual size pizza and you cannot combine credits to order a larger pizza. Also, you cannot use 1 credit to feed 2 or more people (no sharing a single entree or pizza).

Each person can order an individuall sized pizza or a different entree on the menu and since each person is using a credit each person will get a standard fountain beverage and a dessert.

I wouldn't do it on the DP unless you are really interested in one of the few pasta entrees. I'd save it for a non DP meal & pay OOP to split a pizza . . . eg if you have loaded up on credits on other days or have used/blown a TS on a sit down breakfast ADR on another day.

This would be my advice as well. A large pizza there is relatively inexpensive to pay for OOP, and you wouldn't be subject to the restrictions they impose on dining plan credits. We've not had an individual pizza there before, but the large pizza was enough for 2 adults with about 2-3 slices leftover.

The mezzo metro pizza ( 1/2 metre ) I believe is two credits, however we pay put of pocket for the three of us as the tab including tip with a bottle of wine is always under $100...

Unless someone has actually done this recently, this is NOT true. VN will not let you combine credits to get a pizza to share. Each person on the DDP has to order an individual entree/pizza. It all goes toward what Disney will reimburse them for the DDP, and VN is very strict to adhere to what the written guidelines are.

Sharonabe is correct. When Via Napoli first opened, they DID allow you to pool credits for pizzas other than the individual size. But that has not been permitted for the last couple years at least.

Athough they did in the early days,, Via Napoli no longer allows guests to combine credits for a larger pizza.

Once you each get your entrees you can share them around and do whatever you want...they just don't want guests using 1 credit to feed 2 people or 2 credits to feed 4 people. what used to happen is that guests would use 2 credits for a large pizza and 4 to 6 persons would eat it.
