i booked via napoli for next week...and now they say it's not on the dinning plan...the website says it is....my reservations say it's not and when i called, the agent had to do extensive research bc she didn't know and then came back and said it wasn't for 2011. anyone have experience?

Seriously - they said "extensive research"? Like opening the 2011 DDP brochure?

Via Napoli is right on the list of Epcot restaurants in the brochure. Check the DDP sticky @ the top of the page, I think it has a link to the brochure. It's a PDF of else I would link it here.

yes, she did say she had to do extensive research bc they "change" things. and proceeded to change my ressies....but my old one is still listed so i don't think she canceled...so i'll wait til i get there and figure it out on my own, i guess.

The brochure is the official list, and Via Napoli is on there.

Right now there are all sorts of oddities on the Disney restaurant information pages on the website, which is probably where the CRO agent did that "extensive research". Remember, the phone dining agents see a different interface but the same basic portal we see with the web-based reservation system, so when there's misinformation there the CMs are just as confused by it as we are.

Who is "they"?

It's in the 2011 brochure. Seems odd it would be in an updated brochure and not be allowed. I have not read it is not. :confused3
So wondering who is saying it is not allowed. I would question them on why it is not, but listed in the new 2011 dining plan brochure on the Disney website.

Who is "they"?

I'll guess that it is one of the uninformed people they employ at the call centers that have no clue about any practical Disney information. The WDW website has an error listing several restaurants as accepting the DXDP and not the regular DDP. That is probably where "they" got their misinformation.

I had a question about this, too. The WDWTC told me to call on Jan. 4th, I did and was told it is now officially on the dining plan.
