Via Napoli disappointment

I have to say VN used to be on our must do list.

We went Easter Sunday and we won't be back. Our server was downright rude, I was still asking my family if we wanted salad with our pizzas when she snatched my menu out my hand. Pizzas were mediocre at best. Our server couldn't get us out of the restaurant fast enough.

Yeah, I didn't feel the Via Napoli love either. We went on our last trip and got a pizza to share, but I really thought it was pretty mediocre to be honest. I have certainly had much better pizza. Maybe if all you had in your area is chain store pizza, this would be a definite step up. I also won't be returning.

Wow, my nephew and I love Via Napoli. I'm actually disappointed I can't fit it in to our itinerary for our next trip.

I don't even have a desire to try it myself. I can get fabulous pizza at far less price where I live. I'm not about to pay Via Napoli's prices for pizza.

I think it all depends on where you are from .. If you are used to pizza in NY then it will probably fail in comparison, if you are used to Pizza in Arizona- then almost anything is better.... Either way, I dont like soggy pizza and we don't like a lot of sauce. Went to VN in Dec and enjoyed the pizza however, we were really looking forward to the Zeppole for dessert but they were out of them ( hate it when that happens, we had the same thing 2 years prior at Rose and Crown with the Sticky Toffee Pudding)

I don't agree. I'm used to pizza in NYC, DC, Montreal -- all places with LOTS of options for pizza and many great ones. And we love Via Napoli. It's a particular style pizza. I HATE deep dish pizza -- even in Chicago. It's a personal preference thing, at least to some degree.

That is so true. You can get 10 people and ask them about the best pizza they ever ate and you would get 10 different answers

Yes! We went to Sanaa, Y&Y, Tusker, BOG,Kina for breakfast, akershus and HDDR

Excellent!! We're doing Sanaa and Tusker in Aug for sure! How was Akershus? Haven't done it since DD9 was DD3!

I wouldn't say I am crazy for Neapolitan pizza, but I have enjoyed both my meals at Via Napoli.

I generally like my pizza on the well done side, but I have never asked for it there and still had great pizza on my visits.

It may have been an off night. We have never had a disappointing meal at VN and it is one of our favorite TS meals in Disney. We never ordered a large pizza, only the individuals, being on the DDP. Their pizza is awesome. We even really enjoyed the pasta dishes there. And yes, the Zeppoles are one of the BEST desserts in Disney! I love them! Sorry you did not enjoy it. Maybe give it another chance sometime in the future?

We went once and didn't care for it. The service or the food. Every place has off nights though and it seems most people enjoy it. I can't recall what I didn't like about the pizza just that I didn't like it.
