Via Napoli Dining Plan ?

Someone reported on Allears that they overheard a server telling people on the dining plan they could only order pizza, drink and dessert. Anyone know if this is true? We booked a meal there, but not everyone wants pizza.

I don't think it is true that you are restricted to pizza on DDP. I think if you intend to order a multi-serving pizza though, you do have to have the number of persons present to provide credits for the pizza (2 for a large, 4 for a half-meter)

My guess this is what was over heard. I would guess the other table wanted to order say a half meter pizza, which would need 4 credits, but someone else at the table wanted to order something else which would have left them short. Thus, the server was telling them "you would have to order the pizza, or you can't use your dining plan credits for it".

2 credits for a large pizza? I want to try via napoli so here's my question. If my husband wants to order an entree, I want an entree and my kids want to shara a large pizza (son counts as adult and daughter is still considered child), is that ok or do i have to give up 2 of my "adult meal credits" for the pizza

From all indications, it requires adult credits to order the larger pizzas.

From the reports we have now the above post is correct - child credits don't count toward a multi-serving pizza order. Your son could order an individual pizza from the adult menu, and there is pizza on the child's menu as well.
