Via Napoli and Illuminations

Can you see Illuminations from Via Napoli? I heard they had an outside patio. If so, how does it work? We have a 7:45 pm ressie for 7 in April. Thanks!

I'm definitely trying this restaurant on our trip next year. I'm very interested in the answer as well.

The restaurant is tucked back in the depths of the pavilion. You won't be able to see it from there.

We sat on the patio area last month but and like the PP said it's tucked in the back and under a roof. I doubt you could see much. Maybe a few of the high fireworks.

No, you won't be able to see them from there. We had a 7:45 resv. and finished up at 9:00 right when Illuminations was starting. It was great; we walked outside hearing the music and just stood in front of the Italian pavillion and watched from there. Usually we wait for Illuminations to start, but I enjoyed this so much more.

We were seated against the window looking out down the pavillion towards the lake and we saw the high up fireworks that was it. We didn't try to book there for illuminations so that was fine with us DFi doesn't like fireworks much. Id stick to rose n crown for watching fireworks

I read in UG 2011 that they should have a good view of Illuminations???

Don't know where they got that. It's too far back in the pavilion to get a good view from outside, and you can't see from inside at all. Maybe they were referring to the new Mexico restaurant, which does have views.

Or the new La Hacienda de San Angel. Amazing viewing spot and the Food is fabulous too. Our new MUST do every trip!!

Via Napoli has great food too I thought too! We LOVE it there too and has become a must as well but we have it booked for lunch.
