VGT, did I get an upgrade?

About a week ago our cabin number just showed up on our reservation. We usually book a family deluxe veranda, usually a 5B. This cabin when I checked, is one of the two unassigned handicapped accessible rooms the most AFT on the Magic. I read the room reviews, they say the cabin is huge but it’s considered a 6A. There are only two of us, am I better off? It’s cabin #6654. Your thoughts?

Since a VGT could be a 7A, this would be an upgrade.

Personally I hate handicap-accessible staterooms, because there is no bathtub or rim on the shower, so the whole bathroom floor gets wet whenever someone showers. But not everyone cares about that. Some people prefer more space. If space is what you want, you scored.

We wound up with a HA room on a previous DCL cruise and thought it worked out well. Yes, there are signifiant differences in the room layout, but once you got over the difference it was actually kind of nice. Lots of room!

VGT means ANY veranda. So the only upgrade from that would be to Concierge - which barring something massively unforeseen is NOT gonna happen.

The balcony is roughly the size of a basketball court.

We had a handicap room when I had a broken leg and the shower was my only complaint. Not only did the bathroom floor get wet but it leaked out into the carpet in the room (I guess I didn't have the door properly closed). I had to have the stateroom host bring in some industrial fans to try and dry it out. I felt terrible.
