VGF Waitlist Comes Through

Often people post comments wondering whether their particular waitlist will come through, so here is an example of one where it did.

Our trip is in late September, and at the 7-month point, we booked a BCV studio since it was available and waitlisted a VGF studio (both a SV and LV). My DW checked every day for two weeks until last night, surprisingly, the waitlist came through for the LV.

While waitlisting doesn't work for everyone, we've more often than not had fortunate outcomes.

That's great! Congrats to you then! We toured the models some months ago and thought it would be worth trying them down the line at some point, so now I guess we will.

We toured the models, and DH thought it would be worth it to own some points there for a December stay. So we did buy enough for a few nights in a studio every other December.

Which is what we're thinking of doing with Poly depending on what they offer and, of course, how much it costs. I'm thinking Poly will surge beyond what VGF established re: costs.

That's what we did too! Just a little 50 point contract to ensure Christmas-time and anniversary visits!

With the cost of points rising with each successive DVC resort, this small contract option is the only way we'd ever buy again. . .unless miraculously money becomes no object to us.
