I hope to close on my contract in a month or two and will have extra banked points to splurge next year :)

I know availability for VGF at 7 months is virtually nonexistent, but I'm hoping to be lucky enough to piece together two or three nights in a studio around March 1-4 (Weds-Sat). I was wondering which studio category generally has more availability- Standard or Lake View? I think those dates are a relatively slow period, so maybe I'll get some lightning in a bottle!

Agreed the less expensive rooms book first, studio standard.

I just booked VGF for tomorrow, about an hour ago. And I booked four nights way after the seven months with a combination of stalking and waitlists (late May as well).

It's not easy, but it can be done. Although I'm sure early March is more difficult than May.

Both were lake view.

Good luck.

Great to hear, thanks. Enjoy your trip!

We don't have points at VGF but last winter we were able to book a LV studio there for 2 nights the first week in April. (Beautiful weather and a wonderful stay)

I would actually guess at 7 months there is not one that favors over the other. It would just be what comes up as available.

Studio will be difficult always, and you would need to get lucky...you'll have a better chance with a 1 bedroom
