Another great trip to the parks, but still no park view. Kind of bummed. I've stayed at VGC as an owner 10 different times. Every time we get the bottom floor with no view. We requested a view about 6 months out. Maybe I need to request a week out.

The only time I've had a park view was on the tour, go figure.

Do you request specific rooms? Seems
Like folks have good luck doing that.

I tried that the last few times with no luck. So this time, I just said any room, but still no luck.

OH, sorry to hear that, mate. We nearly always get our requested "woods" view. In 2012 we got a smack-dab perfect theme park view on the 5th floor. It was glorious and entirely unexpected.

We own there and have have stayed there a lot. Most of the time we’ve faced the park on a mid level, so mostly saw trees. And I’m pretty sure the trees are getting bigger each year. One time we were on an upper floor but faced the pools. Best view we ever had was high up near the end so had a good view of grizzly mountain. But on a couple of occasions we had a first floor room, which was great for accessing the BBQ’s.

Anyway, at least we can always go up to the viewing area on the top floor.

I've ended up with pool view more than anything else, but not everytime. Founding member - phooey. One time the CM said she was very glad to finally see me show up (it was around 1PM or so) as people had come back at least 3 times to try and get her to switch them from the non-park view they had been assigned.

I requested a specific room # and got it. Was so excited for the park view and watching WOC from our balcony. Had the misfortune of staying on a High School Grad Night and heard non-stop screaming until park closing (2 am as I recall). After that experience, I'd request anything but a park view.
