We are thinking about going to VGC next summer instead of WDW. We are looking at booking a One Bedroom at the end of June. I am wondering about availability. If we book right at the 7 month mark is it likely that we would be able to get a room?

Thanks.

Before or after the So. Cal pass blackout days begin? That will make a huge difference but overall June is one of the busier times. However the fact you want a 1BR improves your odds.

Keep in mind that if you have qualified points you can also use your points for the DLH, PP or GC hotel part if you can't get into VGC. There is no $95 fee to do that. So if you don't get VGC at 7 months you can waitlist but still have other options if you don't get the VGC, although they are more point intensive.

They only have the So. Cal. Pass blockout days through May 2014 on the web-site right now, but we are looking at the week of June 22-28 so hopefully those will be blockout days. Based on the 2013 blockout days it looks like some of the days would be blocked out, but not all of them. However, for the Southern California Select Annual Passport they would all be blockout days based on the 2013 calendar.

We bought directly from Disney so our points should qualify in the event we can't book at VGC. Hopefully we can into VGC becuase its looks so nice.

I will plan on trying to book at 8:00 eastern time when the on-line booking window opens.

Thanks.
