VGC Owners Home State Poll

A post on a VGC thread had me thinking. The post said it was guessed that most VGC owners were from California (or to put it clearer, living in California right now..I'm from California, but no longer living there.)
So, please fill out the poll so we can get unscientific idea of where VGC owners are currently residing.
Opps..should have put this in Mousellaneous and sorry for the typo in California...

Just west of the Mississippi River. (Actually 2 miles north of the Mississippi River as the Mississippi runs east-west thru our area).

Three of the five of us in my family are native Californians who for the past seven years have been living in the greater Indianapolis, IN area, thanks to my employer. A former employer also took us to Michigan, where my middle child was born. My youngest was born here. Besides family & friends, VGC will give us another wonderful place to stay on our trips back home each year.

I think I saw that post, is this the one to which you are referring:

And, based on my guide (I know one person's experience doesn't make it universally true) there are been very few California sales other than in California

I took it to mean that the sales were from the CA office vs the FL or IL office--maybe not necessarily only folks who reside in CA.

Still, you have posted an interesting poll. (I am a little confused on the Do you live further west but before the Mississippi River? category, but that is okay since I am east of Mississippi. )

We are in WA right now (trying to sell a house ). Native CAs.
Are moving to AZ when this house sells (already have a house there).
But, no matter where we live, we would buy. We have been waiting for it. LOVE DGC!!

How about "Outside of USA" as a poll option . . . as we live in Canada (without even going into specific countries)?

For those of us outside of the USA, airfare to Florida or California can be the same or pretty close in cost . . . which means we might not be "Florida-centric" in our travel patterns.

I'm from Hicksville, NY (Long Island). I've posted this before but I'll say it again. I have been waiting for GCV to be offerred for sale since 2001 and asking about DVC in CA since I became a member in 1996. And from the results of the poll so far only 1/3 of the GCV owners in this unscientific poll are actually from CA while almost 40% are from east of the Mississippi.

I grew up in Plainview, NY. I've lots of family who still live there. I always used the Hicksville train station to get into the city when I was younger. I ma a little surprise to so many GCV owners from the East. My guide told me that I was the first New Yorker that he was selling GCV to when I did my add-on.
