veuve clicquot champagne

Months ago I read on this board that one can buy veuve cliquot champagne for $20 a bottle on the islands. We will be on the Eastern (8/9/03) and would like to know the location of the stores in St. Martin or St. Thomas with veuve cliquot at this price. I also need to buy some Appleton's rum. Your comments are appreciated.

Don't know about that but I bagged a bottle of Dom Perignon for $60 in Ste. Maarten. It was on New Street, almost to the "end" past the store that say "Disney Kids" on the outside but on the same side of thes treet, maybe a block further.

W@W Cliquot for $20!!!! best I've ever gotten it for was $35

If I can buy the VC at this price, I will still be ahead of the game if I take it to dinner and pay a corkage fee and tip. I would prefer to drink this over the mid-level wines offered in the packages. I did see some interesting stuff on the wine lists, but prices were high.

Windermere, I can also buy it at home on sale for about $29. But, I have enough to bring with me so I would like to buy it during the cruise!
