So we are planning a trip for Nov 5-12th, this year. Just wondering if Veteran's Day is pretty busy at Disneyland?

Holiday = BUSY.

Doesn't matter which holiday. If kids are out of school and adults have the day off work, it's gonna be busy.

Our school is giving the kids monday and tuesday(veterans day) off this year. Probably possible that other schools would too and that lots of families might travel down for an extra long weekend. Only one of four annual passes is blocked that day so I would anticipate it being very busy.

We live in BC too! You guys get the monday off as well? My husband is a teacher and I dont think we do.

Im thinking we might skip that day then. It was going to be our last day but maybe we will not take a break during our trip and just do all the 5 days in a row.

Hello fellow BCer, Last year when remembrance day was on the monday, we also got the friday off making it an extremely long weekend. I think the monday off this year is kinda weird, but any day that I don't have to pack lunches I'm happy about!

Yes... We are locals and this is when & why we planned our mini staycation in the villas @ the Grand Californian!!! So it maybe slightly busy in the parks for this so called long holiday weekend!!

What I wonder is: Is the Avengers Marathon going to be an annual tradition and if so will it always be the weekend of the week Veteran's Day falls in? That may lead to bigger crowds as people decide to come earlier for the race.
