Veteran's Day

I am planning a trip to DL Nov 12 - 19 , 2006.
Does anyone know if Veteran's Day is observed on Monday since it falls on a Saturday.
I am worried about the crowds during holidays.

Most schools will observe it on Friday the 10th.

Should be celebrate don Friday the tenth- crowds will be back to "normal" which should be good, when you go
