Veterans Day Crowds

We are heading to DL from Nov 10-17th, we will probably spend 5 days at DL and go to Knott's one day. Does anyone know what the crowds will be like at this time? I'm hoping they aren't too busy with the holiday being on a Wednesday. I've been to DL in mid September and mid January and the crowds were never an issue - most of the time we could walk on rides. Also, what day would you recommend going to Knott's, we were thinking Friday.

We will also be there for Veteran's Day. I don't know what the crowds will be like as we have never gone at this time. However, I am assuming they will be busy on Veteran's Day. I have looked up some of the local school calendars and many of the schools appear to have Veteran's Day off. Last year's park hours were extended for Veteran's Day and the day after. Also, the lowest level annual pass is blocked out on Veteran's Day this year. All these factors are leading me to expect crowds on Wednesday. Regardless, we will have a blast.

Hopefully someone else can give you more information based on actual experiences at that time.
