Veterans Day, are the schools closed in florida on this day?

Can anyone tell me if the schools are closed on veterans day in florida?

I can't be sure about all schools in Florida, but the counties I grew up in and taught in (Miami-Dade and Broward) always had it off. I would plan on there being more local families who are trying to get in a long weekend at Disney in nice weather conditions.

It depends on the school district. Our county schools do have off Veterans Day.

Our county is out. I am pretty sure it is still a standard day off for the state.

We went last year during this week and we are going this year too. Our kids have off 11/4 and 11/5. It's also Jersey Week. Yes, it will be crowded. More crowded than we expected last year, but we still had fun.

Alright, thanks. We are driving from Canada 20 hoursthe 9, and 10, (sat,sun) I wonder because it is a three day weekend for your country if the highways are going to be busy on the sat and sun?

It will be very busy. Schools are out. Half of Nj is there. It's a holiday. Last weekend of F&W fest.
