Hi, DIS Friends-
I am so upset!
We are traveling to WDW in July on the MYW Premium Plan. I made ADRs for both the HDD and CRT for breakfast, and of course, I had to give a cc guarantee for both - no problem. I was assured by the CM that my card wouldn't be charged and that it was only to be used as a guarantee, even though we are on the Premium Plan.
I got my cc statement on Saturday and I was charged $152.83 for CRT. So I called Disney Dining and stated that I believed a mistake had been made and thought that it would be as simple as having them refund the charge. Not a big deal. I was, of course, extremely nice as I understand that anyone can make mistakes.
Well, apparently it is a big deal.
After talking to a supervisor, the CM who I spoke with stated that they had "checked three different places" and were certain that my cc hadn't been charged. I told them, "Well, I'm sitting here looking at my statement, so I can assure you that it has been charged."
They continued to insist that there was no way that I could have possibly been charged and that I needed to take this up with my cc company. That's simply ridiculous. Of course, my cc company states that I WAS charged.
Regardless of how much we've spent on our package and accommodations, it's simply the principle of the matter.
So what would you do?
Thanks,
Sheila
