We've just been to oldest DS's first parents evening of secondary school and he is doing really well. Every teacher said he was a pleasure to teach and he always had a big smile on his face.
All his grades are really good too and when he moves into 2nd year in August he is expected to be in the top sets for English, French and Maths. These are the only subjuects where they go into sets in 2nd year all the other classes are mixed ability until 3rd year. So really happy with him.
His English teacher paid him the ultimate compliment and said that she wished she had a school full of Kieran's and its kids like him that she went into teaching for in the 1st place.
We're so glad that he has settled in so easily as he went from a school with only 18 pupils so it was a huge leap for him to go to one with 600 kids

yes he will get a nice treat, although I'm frightened to ask him as he really wants a new bike, but theres no way hes getting that :rotfl2:

He must be a really lovely lad - you must be very proud of him.:goodvibes

Makes you feel really proud of your DS, and so you should be, and makes you feel that you are doing it right.
So what about the bike:woohoo:

he's settled on a new cycling top and shorts, a much cheaper option for me and he's delighted as he has been wanting this top since .
