Despite the title of the thread, this isn't a complaint as much as it is a compliment. I had to make a call today to Disney to add something to a reservation for a friend who was unable to call. When I first dialed the numbers (I tried two of the numbers from the reservation emails), I heard the message that all circuits were busy. So I waited and called back later when the automated voice told me that due to high volume, the wait time would be at least thirty minutes.
The actual wait time to speak to a representative for me was 57 minutes. I don't call Disney that often, so that may be normal? But it's the next part that I wanted to share.
When my representative finally got on the line, I was not sure what to expect if the phone lines had been THAT busy all day. But she was sweet and funny and helpful and embodied everything that I want to find when I talk to someone from Disney.
So despite the long wait time - and that's just sad if that IS the norm - the customer service was still excellent. Well done, Disney!
