We just returned from a 2 night stay. This was our first trip to Universal and we loved everything about it! First of all, we absolutely loved RPR! Everyone there was so friendly and accommodating! We were so busy the first day that we didn't stop by and get a glass of milk for my 1 year old (he has got to have milk before bed!) and when we realized it the restaurants were closed. We called room service expecting to pay a small fortune for it but when the girl delivered it to our room she said "Ma'am this milk is free of charge!" How sweet! This was not the only time we were given free milk for my little one and every time it was handed over with a smile! Of course, my son waving and blowing kisses at everyone probably didn't hurt
Everything about RPR was wonderful. Beautiful landscaping, clean rooms, friendly staff.. I could go on and on!
Due to our short stay, we only visited 1 park - Islands of Adventure. We got there about 5 minutes after 8:00 during the early entry time and went straight to HP. Loved the baby swap for all the rides! The two older kids got to ride everything twice in a row and the little one got to go through most of the lines with the family. FJ was a great ride and it was never really crowded on the day we went (5/8). Wait time was 10 min. (walk on) when we got there (8:30) and 15 min. about an hour before we left the park (5:00). I do admit that we didn't check right in the middle of the day, though. My son (8) actually liked the Spiderman ride the best. I preferred Hulk
The fotl perk is awesome! For several rides, wait times were 45 min. to 1 hr. and we walked right on. Made for a nice trip in 93 degree heat!
We ate at Margaritaville for my son's b-day dinner and it was great! The volcano erupted just when we sat down and the kids really loved the stilt walkers who made balloon animals. They made a big deal out of my son's b-day! Ok, sorry this post is sooo long! We just had so much fun! Any questions just ask!
