Very important MNSSHP question!

Last year I attended my first MNSSHP and I loved it. However, I was left with one huge question that I could never answer -

During the parade, there is one character - a black bird that looks like a chicken at the top of a tall tower. Who is that character? She seemed important because she had her own float and a long clucking routine, but my friends and I had no idea who she was!

Also, is she back this year? But more importantly, who the heck is this?!?!

We watched the parade on youtube recently to get a preview (we have never been to MNSSHP) and my dd4 and I couldnt even figure out what type of animal was in that house. Thanks for the answer. Now, what movie/show is she from?

Just want to say we were at last night party and I have to say it was wonderful. Best time ever and I really think the Halloween party and fireworks are my all time favorite. Even better then Christmas!

Ha, one of my friends last year insisted that it was a crow from Dumbo, but we were like "Why is it clucking?!?" It's a strange part of the parade for sure!

That's my almost 5 year old DD's favorite part of the parade! We have the party music and she asks to listen to that song all year long in the car. I hope they don't get rid of her. I love when Disney has the classic "original" Disney characters in shows and parades, even if they aren't in "new" movies or shows.
