Very EXCITED just booked a stay BCV!

We are at our 7 month window yesterday. I called and said that I would like to switch resorts and asked if there was availability. I was told yes, hold on while I switch it for you. Then I was nervous the whole time wondering about what some people had said when you cancel one ressy and then the next room gets booked while you were waiting. Well, everything went fine and now there should be a 2 bd available at AKV if anyone wants to know - Nov. 15- 21. My husband had told me I shouldn't worry because when we go there will most likely be availability since we don't go during "peak times". And I would be happy at any of the villas I am sure. But, when we decided we wanted to buy BCV was the one that attracted us most, so it will be great to get to stay there and walking to Epcot sounds wonderful to us!

Wonderful! I was at "The World" on those exact dates last year(2009) and it was PERFECT. Perfect weather, low crowds.....perfect! Have a wonderful vacation.

Thank you! I hope that you do too! Last year we also switched at the 7 month mark to BLT and had no problem. It still feels new to us though so everytime I call it is exciting! This will be our third stay as DVC owners, so far it has been great!

Congrats! Though I must admit I am jealous. We closed this week on BCV and are waiting to get into the DVC system. Our next trip is only 6 months away in October and I am doubtful we will pull off a BCV room this time around.

Thanks, I hope that you do get what you want. So far, we have but we haven't been during the busiest times so I am sure that is part of it. I would like to try all of the DVC resorts so I will be happy with whatever we get when we go. If we didn't get BCV I was going to ask for BW.

My family and I tried for years to get a villa there and it was always booked, until last year!!! we finally went and it was wonderful!!! we didnt even go into the parks. the hotel pool was more than fun than I would have ever expected! The resort has plenty of entertainment and we also went to the boardwalk at night and spent time in downtown Disney. The whole vacation was very relaxing, Im sure you will enjoy it!

Wow, that makes me feel very lucky to get it on my first try.....I really do think it depends a lot on when you are going. Glad that you enjoyed it so much. I hope that it will be warm enough to get to enjoy the pool. So far, whenever we go it is not very warm. So, that is the bad thing about our timing. But on the other hand usually the parks are not that crowded!
