family of 5, staying in the cabins next month .. booked this morning! I've got a LOT of catching up to do!

I've read just enough to know that I should contact Kenny for a golf cart rental. Is the best way calling or email? Will I be too late for Columbus day weekend?

Congrats! We will be staying at the Cabins again this year, YAY!

I have some great memories from Ft. Wilderness and it's always fun for me to go back! To me it feels more laid back there and its nice having your own little area. Enjoy your trip

Definitely call Kenny asap - not sure if that's a busy weekend or not for him but better safe than sorry. If you don't catch him by phone right away, keep trying. He's a very busy guy these days but is great once you get on his radar.

here's where we are so far

DH, DD, DS and I arrive late evening on Monday, taking ME to Pop Century. We're staying there for 2 nights. (we love Pop! and it's cheap for a late arrival and park day!)

Tuesday: full park day, MK and Epcot

Wednesday: check out of Pop Century, pick up rental car, and check in at FWC we're hoping our cabin will be ready, but if it isn't, that's ok .. we'll check things out until it is. Once we're settled in the cabin, we'll make a trip to Publix for supplies. Dinner, more exploring .. maybe the campfire & movie .. our oldest DS flight arrives at 8pm, and he's taking ME from the airport.

Thursday: Epcot. Hoping to beat the Columbus Day/Food & Wine Festival weekend crowds. I'd like to see Hallowishes from the beach.

Friday: sleep in, breakfast at the cabin .. pool, maybe rent a boat ... MNSSHP that night.

Saturday: sleep in, pool, relax, resort activites ... hope to catch the Kentucky-Auburn football game on TV. I'm thinking about cooking out burgers & steaks for dinner.

Sunday: flight leaves MCO at 3:00pm. cry bitterly as we leave.

I'm planning my first vacation in a cabin at Fort Wilderness, too! We're vacationing over spring break. Our family has stayed at Fort Wilderness in an RV in the past (5 years ago) and on that trip the only park we visited was a water park. There's so much to do at the Fort!

If you want to save a trip to Publix, I hear Garden Grocer works like a dream!

Also, one thing I wish we'd had time to do at the Fort last time that we didn't get to do was rent a canoe. I hear that's really great too!

well ... the thing is ... I pink puffy heart love shopping at Publix. We don't have them here, so I welcome the opportunity to shop there. It's a sickness, I know.
