Very Disappointed in Disney Visa!

I am a Charter Member with Disney Visa and have kept my account in good standing ever since, but I am very disappointed that I never received any Email, snail mail, etc. notice about the Free Dining Plan. I had to depend on the DIS Board for the code.

I didn't either. They need to be more consistant in their advertising and notification. I hardly ever get any notice of anything.
 
I'm a charter member, too. I never got a notice. I'm on the Dis everyday so I've been keeping on top of things, but Chase should send the notice to ALL Disney Visa holders.

Another charter member here - to boot, the Travel Agents were not informed way ahead of time either! They certainly kept this one under wraps...
 

I'm a charter cardmember (not sure that makes any difference whatsoever) and I never seem to get email deals. I get notified about my online bill payments, but no ads. I probably checked a "no" box at some point when asked if I wanted to hear about special deals, etc.

Thankfully we have DIS.

I actually got it yesterday via email.. 2 days after I had booked my trip thanks to the DIS :goodvibes
 
DH emailed Chase to find out why we didn't get an email, there's their lousy reply:

Me too - Day 1....never an email. Just got my statement yesterday, nothing inside. Checked the website earlier this week, nothing posted there either! Thank goodness for the Dis. i wasn't able to take advantage of this "VISA perk" given my travel dates....but I don't consider it a "VISA" perk if VISA never told me about it!! I'm very disappointed in them too.
 
I didn't get one either and I had made sure to check my information beforehand so I would. The deal wasn't up on that new site either. Well NOW it is whoopdeedoo.
 
I never received it last year, but I did get it this time. I do believe that I changed my email preferences (Pleae don't ask me where I did this, I can't remember sorry) But now I do get email offers. However, there was a post stating there is a promo on using the Disney Visa for gas to get double points, apparently there was an email on this, I never received that one....go figure !!:confused3

I find it ironic the info just got posted on the rewards website very early this morning - 3 days after it was offered.

Thats the problem! Its a Chase card............
As for a reward card 1% is a joke others are better:rolleyes1
 
I'm a Day 1 card holder and I got the e-mail on 4/9. I always get Disney Visa Rewards mailings -- hard and through e-mail. Rarely can I use the offers -- wrong time or don't want a DVD, etc.

I'm sorry the rest of you aren't getting the stuff, but I'm wondering if you have a firewall set up and checked the wrong box somewhere along the line. The "Disney Rewards" e-mails are distinct from the "Chase online" e-mails.

Good luck getting it figured out.
 
I received an email from Disney Visa regarding the free dining but not until 3 or 4 days after I read it on the DisBoards. You think they would make sure everyone got it since it is a Disney deal and that is why most of us have their card!

I've been getting a lot of offers lately, but nothing for free dining. Maybe we don't get anything because we're all charter members and they think we are smart enough to figure it out on our own. :teeth:
 
I called them and asked why I did not get a notice. They told me it was probably filtered out by my server. Personally I don't believe it..Yes, thank goodness for the Disboards.;)
 
I received an email on the 10th. Have you all checked your email preferences w/Chase and made sure you are set up to receive email notifications etc.?
 
Also a charter member and I never got anything either.

And I may get flamed for this, but I feel like we don't really get anything special or extra for being members. We got to book a few days ealier.. big deal. I could have just as easily booked CBR today without using my Disney VISA, and I could have done it on line and saved myself the wait time on the phone.
