Last time I checked Disneyworld is in the United States and we live in a free country. Do any of you know that it is within our constitutional rights to film or take pictures of anyone at any given time? They were wrong for telling me that I couldn't take a picture. Even police officers are not exempt from being filmed or haven there picture taken. Disney's rules do not trump the constitution. Believe it or not but I probably could file a lawsuit with what happened to me and I would most likely win.

Did you takeaway fond memories from listening to the Christmas story in words and music?

Just because you can, doesn’t mean you should.
But you do you.

WDW is private property. They have to right to instate rules on their property such as no filming.

Do you believe that restaurants having rules such as no shirts, no shoes, no service is against the constitution as well?

A lawsuit? for not following direct instructions on private property? Good luck with that! Because Disney wouldn't have their armies of lawyers have this case dismissed so fast it would make your head spin.

As they say... Have a magical day.

Can you show me the verbiage in the 1787 Constitution that says we can take pictures or film whomever we would like to whenever?

When the founding fathers wrote the constitution, they 100% had in mind that guests at WDW should take pictures of whatever they want. Heck, they even wrote in that flash photos on dark rides is okay!

I was there Saturday night, and the staff told us that if we needed to leave to use the side aisles. They didn't say exactly why, but I guess it was either to not distract the reader or lighting operator, since there are a lot of effects which need to be synchronized with the music. And I totally understand, since it's closer to a play than a concert. I wouldn't even think about standing up and taking a photo in the aisle during a play, and I would hesitate to do so during a concert where everyone is seated.

I'm not near my computer or an internet connection right now, so I can't look it up... but isn't there an Ammendment that says that all photos should be Landscape - Vertical photos shall naught be taken?

The issue isn't that you captured a photo, the issue is that distracted other viewers and the cast members trying to make the show go off. Plenty of people took photos from their seats and it was fine.

Next time you head through customs at the airport, try taking photos and see how the Constitution applies.

Okay, this is *definitely* trolling, right?
