Yikes! I recently attended the funeral of a healthy 21 year old, who died suddenly while standing in a nearby lake, with some friends.

It ended up that he had an unknown heart condition.

No my son didnt witness. The school made automated calls last night telling parents grievance counselors would be at school today. It is so sad. Im hearing it may have been heart attack. The girl was very active and a jv cheerleader.

I'm glad that your son didn't have to witness it, but I feel sorry for everyone involved, and especially the family of the girl. It always seems so senseless... I promise to hug my kiddos extra long and hard tonight. Thanks.
