Vertigo, Anyone Experience It?

Wow, some of you really have problems with it, that's awful! That would be so hard to cope with when it happens so often! :(

It didn't bother me at all last night. I was nervous about going to sleep, woke up once to use the bathroom and carefully, carefully opened my eyes and all was fine. I breathed a sigh of relief! :) I'm definitely going to mention it to the doctor when I go for my check-up on the 29th. I want to see what he says about it, and find out if it's all right to take Bonine with all the other medications I take. Someone mentioned being put on Celexa, I did take that for a few months after I had my pulmonary embolism and found out I was type 2 diabetic at the same time. So, I wouldn't be afraid of going back on that again, if the dizzy episodes get bothersome.

Thanks again everyone, for the replies.

Chances are you are experienceing positional vertigo.

I too am a Meniers sufferer. Use the John of Ohio regime which helps keep it somewhat contained. 5 years ago I got my first attack (had vertigo as kid but none of the ent's know if thatsa link) and it lasted for an entire week. Couldnt even watch tv. The only things that help with the dizziness knock me out to much to function. Keep some vertigoheel in the car in case I feel it coming on when traveling. Have had a couple of times it was too bad and I had to have someone come get me.

Hope yours goes away! Vertigo is definately no fun!
