I have never been to Vero and am thinking of taking a long romantic weekend with DH in March. We would be going March 9-12. How busy would it be at that time and also, what are my chances of getting in?

Also, we like to relax but also we like stuff to do as well. Are there any shops around or good restaurants? We would have a car so driving is not a problem.

I would guess that your chances of getting in are low. You may be okay with the Friday and Saturday nights given they have higher point requirements.
Call Member Services tomorrow and find out.

March is the start of spring break and lots of tourists heading to Florida.

We'll be at Vero at the end of March for our first visit there. There are a lot of restaurants in the area (found via Google and other threads here) We may try a place called the Quilted Giraffe.

Haven't looked for shopping though we may take a day trip to the Oceanographic Institute or the Mel Fisher Sunken Treasure museum.

Good Luck.

We don't own at Vero, but we go there more than anywhere. We have gone there every month from March thru November and we have not ever had a problem getting in, but that is at the 7 month mark. We have never gone there on a holiday either. Agreed that FRi-Sat are going to be your best bet. Only one way to find out.

If you have a car there are shops and restaurants about 10 mins away.

Good Luck :thumbsup2
