Vero in the rain

We're going to Vero and then BWV for a few days in about a week. It looks like it may rain for a day or two of our Vero stay. Any suggestions of things to do at the resort or in the area that are indoors? Also, is there high speed internet available at Vero? Wireless or wired?

Can't help you with the 'net question at VB, but can tell you that during the rain when I was there, we watched movies. Selection is limited to get there early!

If you have kids, the CMs are usually good about organizing activities. Vero has fabulous CMs! There are also board games you can check out at the rentals place.

I think Vero and HHI both went wireless. I saw a ton of laptops in action at HHI.

If it's not thundering and lightening outside, you can always swim in the pool when it rains. I mean, you're going to get wet anyways so why not?! Also, there is an outlet mall in Vero...I don't know how far away it is from the resort, but it can't be that far. The Mclarty (sp?) Treasure museum is a bit up A1A from there (going North), and you could always drive up to Kennedy Space Center or Ron Jon's in Cocoa Beach if you haven't done that already.

In the same area as the outlet mall, which is not enclosed (about 15 minutes from the resort on SR-60) is also a real enclosed mall and lots of other shopping centers.
