15 days until Vero! On this upcoming trip, I will be bringing my father, who is disabled. I have an OVIR (Accessible) reserved for him and my mom. The problem is, at home, he sleeps in a hospital bed. This is so that he can sleep with his head elevated (there's no other reason). OVIRs have standard beds. I thought about purchasing a bed wedge to help with elevating his head, but I wanted to see if anyone had any other suggestions or if the resort could accommodate him somehow. Thanks in advance!

Call the resort and speak to a manager. They may have options and at the least, will likely have suggestions for local rentals.

Just an FYI about HA rooms from when VB tried to move us into an accessible room for my mother. She could have used the bathroom accessible options but the beds were lowered which were the opposite of what she needed. They did not seem to have any raisers - or else the person I spoke to didn't know of any. I don't know if the height would make any difference for your father but thought I'd let you know.

She also needed to sleep more upright so we just arranged pillows to accommodate that. However I did not ask the resort if they had any options to assist with that.
