I just received our waitlist for a 2 bedroom 4/20 - 4/23. This will be our first time there as owners. We were guests of our friends last year in a Grande Villa and of course we were hooked.

I had booked a one bedroom and was waitlisted for the 2 br. Am I correct that it automatically gets cancelled?

I love Vero. It will be nice to relax there after 6 days at the parks.

Unless you specifically told MS that you wanted the original reservation cacnelled when the waitlist came through, I would not assume the 1 bedroom ressie was cancelled. Even if I had made the request to cancel, I'd still call back to confirm. IMHO, the points are too valuable to take a chance!

Unless you have a banking deadline coming up or other reason to be in a big hurry, you might consider sending MS an email to confirm the cancellation. That way you'll have a written confirmation that things are as you wanted them and also avoid the busy signals/long wait for a "live" CM. Looks like the rest of this week is going to be super busy at MS.

Congrats on getting the 2 bedroom. We loved our two VB vacations in the 2 bedroom units.

Thanks for the info. I will send an email. I wish I had enough points to worry about banking deadlines........I'm already borrowing from my next use year!
