Vero Beach.....what is there for kids?

Just wondering if anyone has good things to say about Disney's Vero Beach Resort. Other than the pool and the beach, what is there to keep kids occupied? Do they have planned activities? What about the resort atmosphere......does it have the Disney "magic" feeling?
I'm hoping to plan a trip for fall 2008 or spring 2009 and I am looking for some input. Thanks to all who reply!

I have been there two times and it is just a beach vacation in my opinion. Yes there are activities and things to do but it is not anything like Disney World. There was a small put put course, awesome pool, of course the beach and some nice places to eat downtown in Vero. It relaxing and peaceful but if you are expecting "Disney Magic" you might be bored. We like it for what it is a beach trip.
