Vero Beach to Ft. Lauderdale?

Has anybody ever driven for Vero Beach to Ft Lauderdale? If so...How far is the drive?

About two hours. You can either take I-95 or turnpike. Traffic is a factor to take into account. Avoid peak hours on I-95. The turnkpike has several segments in repair which can slow down traffic too, but is always a better bet for me than I-95
