We would like to go to a seafood restaurant while in Vero Beach. (Two adults)

Quality and Quantity are top priorities.

I could care less if it is a dump as long as it is good and plentiful.

I have come up with going to The Ocean Grill.

Please confirm my selection or change my mind.

Thanks

Steve,

The Ocean Grill is the best! Top notch service and food. We go on every trip..

Charter a boat and head out with a spear gun...that way, if you're not happy, you have no one to blame but yourself! ;)

I'm not a fan of Ocean Grille....overrated and expensive. But I don't do expensive restaurants well on a normal occasion :lmao: I'm definitely a beach bum restaurant person so I have no offerings for you.

We have eaten at both Capt. Hiram's and Squid Lips. We think Capt. Hiram's is a little better than Squid Lips both in atmosphere and quality of food. Squid Lips is a local's bar with decent food. Both places are a 15 minute drive from Vero in Sebastian Fl. Have a good trip :woohoo::woohoo:

We like the Riverside Cafe a lot -- great grilled fish. The catch of the day usually has at least 3 or 4 different fish choices. The key lime pie is tasty too!!

Website with menu and driving directions is here: http://www.riversidecafe.com/

Have only been to Captain Hiram's and Squid Lips, we go back to them a lot.

Squid lips and Capt Hiram's is the same not impressed with either. Ocean Grill is very good but not great for familes on a budget. All the years I go to Vero I have never had a bad meal there. :thumbsup2

Maison Martinique on S. Ocean Blvd, Vero if you want a really special meal! Riverside Cafe, casual off of Beachhland Blvd., They have the best Fish Tacos! At the Vero Mulligan's, also on Beachland, we've only had appetizers and beer. If you like fish dip this is the place, very casual!

We really like the Undertow Cafe in historic downtown Vero Beach. It's a hike from the Disney VB resort, but worth the drive.

Undertow Cafe is a bigtime local hangout, basically a bar with food. It doesn't look like much, but when you see the menu, you'll be amazed. Everything on the menu is both imaginative and VERY good, and the service is excellent.

Go early, because it's a small place and large herds of locals begin arriving later -- many apparently have standing reservations for parties of a dozen or more. It's the kind of place people come back to often.

Casual doesn't begin to describe the ambiance. Patrons wear NEW flip-flops on the weekends to dress up. Many wear shirts. Live music on the weekends. The Undertow reminds me of what the typical Florida Keys bars used to be like before they went all touristy.

Love this Jim!
