Vero Beach Resort

Has any one heard about the extent of damages at Disney's Vero Beach Resort?

I've heard the beaches in that area took a beating, but nothing specific about the resort itself. I know it is still closed and is expected to reopen to guests on Friday.

I have heard that it is closed until 9/30 for review and repairs.

Last I heard, it's reopening on Friday, Sept. 10.

I just read a few minute ago that it wasn't opening now until 10/18. However, it is structurally secure.

want to know this also...considering the normal high tide is up to the beach stairs, i can't imagine they had no damage, unless they disassemble the stairs and board walk. want husband to call the school he attends at Vero for an update but he still hasn't
