Vero Beach Resort

Any suggestions on spending 2 days at the Disney Vero Beach resort? We will be there on 6/12, 6/13, and leaving on 6/14. Prior to that we will be spending 7 days at WDW.

Length of drive from WDW??? Anyone been to Ron Jon's Surf Shop in Cocoa Beach?

Hi It is a little over a 100 miles to Vero Beach from Orlando, so probably close 2 hours maybe a little longer if you stop at Ron Jon.
I have been to Ron Jons many times, anything in paticular you want to know?

Just returned from VB. We took a day trip to Epcot for Flower and Garden Festival. It was an easy two hour drive door to door.

There is lots to do and see in the VB area. It all depends if you want to be active or just lounge at the beach or pool after a week at the parks. There is a great sail cruise that is highly recommended. We have not done it ourselves (I don't do so well with small boats) -- Captain Doug Moss 772-589-2329. He is an old timer that runs lunch and dinner cruises out of the marina near Captain Hiram's. Captain Hiram's is a great place to eat and only a few miles up US1 from the resort.

You sound like you are on the same schedule we are. We will be at the BWV June 2-12 and then we go to VB June 12-15. We have never tried VB so we are looking for all the information we can get. Do you have any kids? We will have with us DD (14), DD's friend (15) & DD (7). If you have lime green on maybe we will see you around. I have a bunch of lime green Mickey's I picked up from HD so I should have one on something.
