VERO BEACH RESORT & Cruise

We booked a 4 night cruise for late august next year, but we want to go to VERO BEACH the week before. I was looking for ideas on transportation anyone that can help wpuild be greatly appreciated, this is what I was thinking?

1) Rent Car but what to do with it when we are on the cruise?
2) Car Service?
3) NO idea

You can rent a car and drop it off at the port and then pick it up on the way back or do Disney transfers. Or do Vero after the cruise. We are doing 3 nights at Vero and then drive to Miami for our cruise..

They have car rental places at the port? or are you talking about paying to park the car?

If your cruise is leaving from Port Canaveral, you can rent your car from Budget (I think there are a few others too but I have experience with Budget) at the airport or wherever you need to rent it from and then return it in Port Canaveral. They will shuttle you to the ship. Then, after your cruise, you get in line for the Budget shuttle, and they take you back to their office so you can rent your vehicle for afterward. Hope this helps. Just so you know, if you're cruising out of Port Canaveral, the rental location code is CC5. I couldn't find it the first time I tried but have rented many times now for our cruises. Good luck!
