vero beach questions???

Hello: I've been trying to find info on Vero Beach area. We like to bicycle, are there places around there to cycle? What else is around the resort? Can you walk far along the beach? Are there places to walk to from the resort? Any other information would be appreciated. We are 4 adults only. Thanks

There isn't much, if anything, within walking distance of the resort. It's pretty isolated.

You can take a pretty long walk on the beach. We walked for about 45 minutes, headed north then turned around and came back.

There is a "loop" for bike rides, which I was told goes south on A1A, then west on a side street, then back north on what they call the Jungle Trail, then back to the resort. If I remember correctly, it's about a 6-7 mile loop.
