I have a vacation planned for Vero Beach next week. I just received a letter indicating that "Beginning January 8, 2007, we will be performing maintenance to our Beachside Promenade pool area. This work will require the Pirate's Plung pool slide to be closed from January 8th until around mid-February." There's more to the letter about closing the Tiger Lily wet deck during the first week of February.
So, my question is - am I to understand that the entire swimming pool will be closed or just the slide between 1/8 and about 2/15? Does anyone have the real story? I called the hotel and was told that the entire pool was going to be closed during the 5-6 weeks. I'm just trying to verify this before I try to make a last minute switch to another destination. Any help in tracking down the real story would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance,
