Vero Beach...Nearby Grocery Store?

We're driving to Vero Beach for 3 nights, after a 6 night stay at OKW. Is there a convenient place to pick up groceries on the way or once we arrive? Where do you Vero Beach folks like to shop?

If you leave the resort, turn right, then a left at the light, go over the bridge to the light at rte 1 go right (north) about 1 1/2 mile a Pulbix is on the left. If you continue north about 5 miles a Super Wal Mart is on the left. On the way back, look for the water tower on the right, this is where you turn left, back over the bridge to get back to the resort.

And if you are coming from WDW via I -95 and then east through Sebastian, when you hit Rt. 1 and then head south, you will pass that Publix, it will be on your right. Then, on your left, a bit after the Publix, you can see Hale Groves. It's a great place to stop for Florida oranges and the best OJ we've ever had! You can have free samples.

Bobbiwoz is so right. Hales Groves is the absolute best OJ anywhere. It's almost worth the trip to Vero for the OJ alone. Imagine sticking a straw into the orange directly, that's how fresh it is. Oh how I miss that OJ.

Definitely make the stop there.
