My wife and I are DVC members and we are planning our first trip to Vero Beach. For those of you who have stayed there before, would you recommend a "Deluxe Inn Room" or a "Studio Vacation Home"?

Which offers more overall convenience to pool, beach, restaurants, parking, etc.?

Which offers better ocean views?

Is there a specific room or floor we should request?

Thanks in advance to all!

I would suggest that you reserve an Oceanview Inn room. They seem to have a little more room than a studio and have a great view of the ocean. You can park in the underground parking area and take the elevator up to your room. They have large carts to transport your luggage to your room.

We will be staying at VB for the first time in February, but when I called to make our reservation I was told you had to stay in the Inn to assure the ocean view. I would request a "high" floor.

I also believe the Inn is the closest to the dining, pool, check-in, etc.

I would suggest the Inn too with either the 4th or 3rd floor would be a nice view of the ocean!! We stayed there last year for our first time and it was absolutely beautiful!! We're going again in February...when will you be there caverill? We're checking in on 2/3!! Can't wait!! I hope the weather is just as beautiful as last year when we were there. It was high 80's and the water temp was cool, but we all went in!!

It really depends on what you are looking for. The Inn rooms are convenient for the bar/restaurants and have a more "hotel" feel. Generally some of the higher floors would have a better view of the ocean than any of the studios. The studios are generally quieter , but you can't be certain ANYWHERE that you'll get a quiet neighbour. I believe at Vero ALL the studios have a queen size bed and a pull out sofa, this may or may not be a concern to you but it certainly does give you more room if you only have the one bed.

Vero is a tiny resort and nothing is more than a couple of minutes walk from anything else, so really you don't have to worry too much about location.

Do make sure to make one of the morning get togethers in the Grand Villa, you might pick up some interesting info and the units are SPECTACULAR ( and you get a free coffee and a few danish pastries LOL)

We will be at VB on 2/15 - 2/17.

We are really looking forward to staying there, then on to WDW.
