Vero Beach/Hilton Head vs Caribbean All-Inclusive

I have never been to either, but my family enjoys beach/resort vacations, either at a Caribbean all-inclusive or on a cruise. For those who are used to these other types of vacations, how does Disney's beach properties stack up?

Although I can't believe I'm saying this, you may all prefer Vero. I LOVE Hilton Head, but it's more marsh, nature, etc.-the resort isn't right on the ocean. Vero is, and it seems more "beachy".
