Vero Beach help

Starting to plan 2019 trip I'm thinking of renting DVC points next Feb for a studio with a ocean view at Vero Beach. The wife is looking for a break from the parks next year. A few questions if anyone can help me.

How far out do you need to book at Vero? Is 7 months enough or should I be looking at 11 months?

I have a DD who is 7 and DS who is 5 will there be enough to do for 3 nights to them occupied?

I love the Disney service and atmosphere is Vero worth the money or is there better options out there?

Any information is greatly appreciated.

We have been 3 times in February. I booked at 7 months every time. The kids will love it. Cast members are awesome. Mini golf biking beach pool water slide. So fun!

It's fine to post this here, but you'll find a lot more Vero Beach info on the DVC Resorts board, mentioned above. There are a lot of VB regular visitors who post over there, and we get very little discussion of the offsite resorts here.
