Vero beach end of July / beginning August ??

hi, we are trying to plan a summer vacation, though we dont want to visit WDW Florida this year - (waiting for Expedition Everest in 06- I was interested in Indonesia til the quakes and Tsunamis hit)
Has anyone exerience of Vero beach resort, Kennedy Space centre and Busch Gardens in Mid Summer ?
