Vero Beach availability at 7 mos?

We are thinking of doing Vero Beach for a few days on Columbus Day weekend this October. We have never stayed there so I'm not sure what we'd be getting into availability wise for a studio or 1 bedroom if I book at exactly 7 mos. Any thoughts?

I was able to get Halloween weekend last year at 7 months and it was great.
