We are going for the first time to Vero Beach in March. We've been DVC members since 2002. What is a NOT TO MISS at this resort. AND is there a good alligator farm near by? Load me up on advice!

Sunday Brunch at Sonya's. We loved it!

Try this website: http://www.verobeach.com

Activities are mainly just the beach and pool at the resort. They have bike rentals. Kennedy Space Center is great for a day trip. It is 1 hr 15 minutes to the north. Boat charters and fishing are available at Capt Hiram's marina http://wwww.hirams.com.
There are a couple of treasure museums - McClarty's and Mel Fisher's in Sebastian. Just north of Vero Beach. Have a great time.

As you seem to be "into nature " you may enjoy the kayaking in the intracoastal water way. Don't thik you get gators there :o, but you may see manatees and dolphins. It's also worth checking out to see if there would be any turtles nesting/hatching when you are there. DVC organise turtle watching trips, I think march is a good time of year to do it, but you may have to call and book before you go. There are also a couple of nature reserves near to DVC Vero as well.
