Hi! We'll be down at VB for our first visit this June and was wondering if there's any advanced planning to be done like visiting WDW. Do we have to book the turtle nesting tours, character breakfast in advance? Any restaurants you wouldn't want to miss that you'd need a reservation for? Anything not to miss? We'll be 4 adults and 3 kids with a minivan so we'll be mobile. Thanks! :yay:

I'm interested in this as well. Got some bad info from MS a couple weeks ago (that dining reservations could only be made 60 days out, not 180). Called tonight and reserved stuff for Labor Day.

I'm wondering how to reserve the kids experience package, and some of the excursions, etc...

The only advanced planning are dining reservations. Otherwise, no. Everything else can be done at the concierge. This is a very nice, quiet beach town. It’s not actually in Vero Beach. It is in the town of Sebastian. Google
Restaurants there and you will see many options in various price ranges. Not too much night life. Just a nice, sleepy beach town. We love it there!!

I remember there being a lottery system for beach turtle walks, you had to be there to sign up.

There are respectable night turtle walks available in the area, if you do not get into the one at the resort.

It was through this organization that my family found a night walk. The mosquitos were plentiful, but right away a female came ashore dug and laid eggs. My family was very impressed with the experience. I stayed back to babysit, but enjoyed the experience second hand!
